I realised today that by the time the baby in my tummy has their first birthday I will have been pregnant for 2 and a half years of my life, and breastfeeding for 3 years! The strangest thing is, that despite the length of time involved, I know that when I reach this point I will be at least a little sad to see the close of this amazing chapter of childbearing, nursing and time spent with tiny babies!
